How it works

For customers

• Find a cook on the map. Pins show an approximate area only; the exact address is shared after you pay.
• Order from a cook's menu before its cut-off time, or send a request for a made-to-order cake.
• Pay securely online. For cakes, the cook sends you a quote first and you pay once you accept it.
• Collect from the cook at the agreed time. You get the address and collection details after payment.
• Review your order so other neighbours know what to expect.

For cooks and bakers

• Apply with your ID, proof of address and a food safety declaration. A Certificate of Acceptability is optional and earns a badge.
• We check your documents before approving you. Your documents stay private.
• Publish menus with portion limits and order cut-offs, or quote on cake requests.
• Customers pay through YumYumEats; after the order is collected, we pay you out minus our 20% commission.

Why a commission?

YumYumEats keeps 20% of each order. It covers payment processing, the map and ordering platform, document checks, customer support, and handling problems. Cooks never pay to join or to list. See payments and fees.
